In the name of the glitch

Is a glitch an illegitimate piece of world? Does it not deserve to exist? Many designers love chanting about the greatness of failure as a challenge to surpass: the cornflake was unintentionally created… However it lost its “glitch” status once it was reframed into a reproducible output and its process mastered.

So my question is what if we schools schools where we are taught, challenged, to mess up so badly we cannot overcome it and then we learn to live with it? Is that giving up or is it a new lifestyle?
